The CCG1R5 (1.5W), CCG3 (3W), CCG6 (6W) and CCG10 (10W) series comprises of 36 voltage and current combinations with 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V and dual +/-12V and +/-15V outputs. The dual output models can also be connected to supply 24V and 30V. All can operate from either 4.5 to 18V, 9 to 36V or 18 to 76Vdc inputs to support operation from 5V, 12V, 24V and 48V power sources. This 4:1 input range can assist with inventory reduction programs with one part number covering two nominal voltages.
The 1.5W and 3W share a common compact package size of 15.7mm x 10.4mm x 11.5mm (length x width x height), and the 6W and 10W have a common 19mm x 12.4mm footprint (length x width) with a height of 11.5mm (11.8mm for the surface mount models). The plastic case is not encapsulated, avoiding quality risks associated with silicone potting compounds during reflow soldering. Options for double sided board coating for rail applications and other harsh environments have recently been added, plus a larger tray size for tray size for easier placement of the surface mount models.
The operating temperature range for the CCG1R5 to CCG10 is from -40 up to +100 oC using convection or forced air cooling with minimal derating. Over-current protection and remote on/off is standard, with a -5/+10% output voltage adjustment range on single outputs only. Input to output isolation is 1,500Vdc.
The 1” x 1” footprint CCG15 and CCG30 series operates from wide range 9 to 36Vdc or 18 to 76V inputs with 15W and 30W power levels and output voltages from 3.3V to 30V. Single output models can be adjusted -10% to +10% by using the trim terminal. The CCG15-30 can operate in ambient temperatures of -40 to 85°C and has an input to output isolation of 1,500Vdc. Six sided shielding reduces radiated and conducted EMI.
All CCG models are certified to the IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 safety standards with the CE and UKCA marks for the LV and RoHS Directives.
