Realise your power potential with TDK-Lambda

veröffentlicht : 19 Jan 2010

TDK-Lambda UK, one of the world’s leading power supply manufacturers, is showcasing an extensive array of new AC-DC power supplies and DC-DC converter products at this year’s Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition. At the TDK-Lambda stand (C37) application engineers will be on hand for consultations, providing technical expertise and application know-how for your power design needs.

On display for the first time in the UK will be the new LD Series high reliability LED power supplies. Developed for both indoor and outdoor LED lighting applications that require a robust design and a long design life TDK-Lambda’s LD Series is IP66-rated and accepts a wide universal AC input. The first products in the range are rated at 12W – the LDV12 Series provides a constant voltage of 12V, 15V and 24V and the LDC12 Series offers constant currents of 350mA and 700mA.

TDK-Lambda’s IPS Series of IP67-rated single-output power supplies is available in 50W, 75W and 100W nominal ratings. These rugged and reliable units, which visitors to the stand can take a look at more closely, are designed to power equipment in the most hazardous and hostile industrial environments. Certified to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and IEC60079-0, -15 standards these high-reliability power supplies are well suited for Protection Class II 2G Ex mb T4* environments for end equipment where a potentially explosive atmosphere is occasionally present. Other demanding applications include in-machine and factory floor installations, washdown environments and more robust outdoor applications such as in motorway matrix signs and renewable energy control circuits.

TDK-Lambda’s new Custom Power Solutions brochure profiles the company’s custom power solutions and capabilities across the EMEA region, ranging from full bespoke designs, modified standards and ‘brick on board’ products. Recognising that each power supply application is unique in some way, says Geoff Wilby, general manager of TDK-Lambda UK (Sales): “We can provide you in-depth, specialist knowledge and advice on the key attributes of many different applications, which we’ve gained from many years experience working with loyal customers for both custom and standard power supply requirements.”

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics takes place at Farnborough’s FIVE venue from 10-11th February. During the show, visitors to the TDK-Lambda stand will have the opportunity to see first hand an impressive display of leading-edge products as well as speak to TDK-Lambda engineers about their project needs.
