R Series

This extensive series covers a wide range of industrial and medical applications, including models utilising amorphous core technology that protect against damaging high voltage pulses. With current ratings of 0.5A to 1,000A, the series is available with 250V single phase or 500V three-phase inputs. DIN rail (up to 30A) or chassis mounting case styles are offered, along with a choice of standard or medical leakage versions.

ZBM20

ZBM20 modules are ideal for providing short term hold-up or peak power for loads connected to 12, 15 or 24Vdc AC-DC power supplies. They can supply an additional 380ms hold-up at up to 448W. During normal operation, energy is stored in the ZBM20’s electrolytic capacitors. When the AC power is interrupted for a short period of time, the ZBM20 continues to power the load, allowing equipment to shut-down in a safe and controlled manner. The ZBM20-24 can be set to fixed or variable buffer mode. In fixed mode it will provide power when the input voltage drops to 22.4V, in variable mode when the input decreases by 1V. Multiple buffer modules can be paralleled for additional hold-up time. Product status can be accessed remotely via a DC OK relay, or opto-coupled signals. The output voltage can also be inhibited to avoid an unsafe discharge of the stored energy.

DBM20

The DBM module is ideal for providing short term hold-up or peak power for loads connected to a 24Vdc output AC-DC power supply. It can supply an additional 250ms hold-up at 448W output power. During normal operation, energy is stored in the DBM20’s electrolytic capacitors. When the AC power is interrupted for a short period of time, the DBM20 continues to power the load, allowing equipment to shut-down in a safe and controlled manner. The DBM20 can be set to fixed or variable buffer mode. In fixed mode it will provide power when the input voltage drops to 22.4V, in variable mode when the input decreases by 1V. Multiple buffer modules can be paralleled for additional hold-up time. Product status can be accessed remotely via a DC OK relay, or locally using the LED indicators. The output voltage can also be inhibited to avoid an unsafe discharge of the stored energy.

FQA and FQB

The FQA filter modules reduce differential and common mode conducted emissions from dc-dc switching converters. The series takes advantage of TDK technologies to simplify system level compliance to MILSTD-461. The FQB filter modules reduce conducted emissions from dc-dc switching converters, and in addition, contains active suppression circuitry to block input voltage surges and transients. The FQB series simplifies system level compliance to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-704 per MIL-HDBK-704-8. The encapsulated rugged package design and a choice of baseplate options make the FQA and FQB modules suitable for use in a wide variety of harsh and demanding environments.

DRM40

The DRM40 series of 20 to 40A DIN rail mount redundancy modules can be used in N+1 redundancy applications or to parallel two power supplies for additional power. The DRM40 has a current balancing LED indicator which is illuminated when both power supplies have been adjusted to deliver the same current. Two isolated alarm signals indicate the output voltage status of each power supply. Internally the DRM40 has a low 200mV voltage drop.
