Prize winners Ludger Trockel, Dietmar Jaeger and Ulrich Schwarz (from left) in the age of the coronavirus. German trade journal Markt & Technik’s annual Summit of top Managers in the Electronics Industry had to be canceled due to the pandemic.
In this year’s competition to find the “Manager of the Year”, run by German electronics journal Markt & Technik, TDK scored not one but two impressive triple wins. Dietmar Jaeger, Ludger Trockel and TDK-Lambda’s Ulrich Schwarz each won the vote in their respective category. And for Jaeger, this marked the third win in a row. About 6,000 users voted online to pick the winners.
Dietmar Jaeger, the Manager of TDK’s Global Distribution Business, this year stood in the Supply Chain category, having already won in the Distribution & Channel Management and the Passive Components categories in the two previous years.
Ludger Trockel, President of TDK Europe and Sales Director Europe, once again stood in the Passive Components category.
TDK-Lambda’s Ulrich Schwarz, the man responsible for sales in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia, the Baltic and parts of Southeast Europe, was nominated this year for the first time in the Power Supply category.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was not possible to organize a physical awards ceremony. For this reason, the prize winners recorded brief video messages (in German only) to thank the readers of Markt & Technik for their support:
