Japan earthquake and tsunami, Supply chain impact statement

TDK –Lambda Corporation , a Group company of TDK Corporation expresses its heartfelt sympathy to the people and the communities affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami catastrophe
TDK-Lambda has one manufacturing plant in Nagaoka , Japan which produces around 2% of TDK-Lambda products sold in EMEA region . The plant is in operation but is affected by the rolling blackouts implemented by the local power company .
Our transit warehouse located in Tsukuba , Japan resumed shipping on 17th March .
98% of TDK-Lambda products sold in EMEA region are manufactured in locations outside of Japan
Downstream supply chain impacts resulting from damage incurred by Japanese component suppliers could affect certain TDK-Lambda products over the coming months .The situation is under continuous assessment by our Planning and Procurement teams who are taking action as required.
