Lambda, the global power supply specialist, has extended its successful range of single output industrial power supplies with a powerful 1500W version. The HWS1500 is the newest member of the company’s HWS series of high power density, high efficiency power supplies that are RoHS compliant, and achieves even greater power within its small frame. The unit fits into a standard rack enclosure 2U high: 60% smaller than the previous generation of power supplies.

The HWS1500 includes output voltage options from 12, 15, 24 or 48V and accepts a continuous input from 85 to 265V. The series can be used in any equipment requiring a high reliability power supply, but is particularly suited to factory automation, test and measurement, large display systems, communications and broadcast equipment applications. As with all the HWS range, the new unit conforms to SEMI F47 requirements for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Operating temperature of the unit is -10 to 70ºC. Dimensions are 127x82x280mm with a weight of 3800g. The whole range comes with Lambda’s 5 year warranty.
