European ERP Process Analyst

The above vacancy has arisen within the European IT Department.

We are recruiting for a European ERP Process Analyst whose main roles will be to contribute to, manage and support our existing Infor ERP-LN and companion systems. One of our near future goals is to prepare for the migration of our Infor ERP-LN platform into the cloud, and the successful candidate will be key to this implementation.

Main duties and responsibilities:

As part of a team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Development, maintenance and management of ERP processes and companion applications (e.g. Document Output Management and Archiving) including:

  • Test and evaluation of updates and patches
  • Maintenance and support of interfaces between connected systems
  • Database support

Process improvement activities related to ERP and companion applications:

Identification of improvement opportunities and investigation and implementation of change

Support and development of middleware to connect business applications

General IT Tasks:

  • Use of existing tools for data analysis and optimisation
  • International communication and remote support using the available systems
  • Contribution to cost and budget control
  • Management of documentation to meet our quality management requirements
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally
  • Working to comply with the global TDK IT standards
  • Providing user support using appropriate tools

Skills and qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Good understanding of ERP processes and principles
  • Application support experience in ERP
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills for effective team working and stakeholder communication
  • Ability to work independently, whilst being part of a global IT team, to achieve required deliverables in a timely manner
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written English
  • Occasional travel (domestic & international)

This is a Grade 2 position £39,000 - £50,000 DoE. The successful applicant will work a 37.50 hour week on flexi time.

Hours of work:  Monday to Thursday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm
Friday 7.30 – 12 Noon

In return the company offers excellent conditions of employment, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays per annum, additional 1 days holiday at 10 years service and again at 15 years service, Company Sick Pay Scheme, free Life Assurance and Pension contributions above the statutory minimum (Employee 3.25%, Company 4.75%) and Flexi-time (1 hour either side of start and finish time).
