Lambda has added a 350W Front End Power version to its NV-Power range of class-leading, high density and environmentally friendly power supplies. The NV-350FEP combines high efficiency, low noise and excellent EMC performance in a very compact design. Now delivering 7 Watts per cubic inch, the NV-350FEP has a 12V, 30A output and a standby output that is specifically designed for distributed power architectures. The unit is ideal for incorporating into test and instrumentation, broadcast, medical, computing and security applications.
The NV-Power range is based on Lambda’s Multi-Resonant-Topology (MRT), which uses synchronous rectifiers in a resonant technology that helps the supply to achieve efficiencies up to 90%. As well as a 350W primary output, the NV-350FEP’s secondary output offers an additional 6W at 12V. When combined with Lambda’s extensive range of isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters it provides an extremely cost effective distributed power architecture solution. Measuring just 232.4 x 95 x 40.6mm, the NV-350FEP is 43mm shorter than previous NV-Power units, and will fit into a standard 1U rack. It needs no minimum load.
The NV-350FEP accepts an input voltage in the range 90-264VAC and is EN61000-3-2 compliant. It has medical agency approvals, and is covered by Lambda’s three year guarantee.
