Vega, Lambda’s modular power supply range, has grown again with the introduction of the Vega Lite, a new cost effective configurable power supply offering up to 900 Watts output power and fast delivery – next day shipment for samples and 2 weeks for pilot production runs. Designers looking for high levels of output power in a compact space now have another off-the-shelf solution from the Vega range to meet their needs in a wide range of medical, industrial control, computing, communications and instrumentation applications.

The Vega Lite has no minimum load requirement, and fixed or adjustable outputs that give designers a choice of output voltages from 1.8 to 56V and output current up to 60A. Input voltage is 85-264Vac, or 140-330Vdc.

The inherent versatility of Vega lies in its high degree of configurability. Output module functions include inhibit, module good, remote sense and parallel. Typical efficiency is 75% at full load and the supply comes complete with short circuit, over voltage and over current protection.

As well as the wide choice of output modules there are a number of customer options. The Vega Lite measures 270.7 x 126.5 x 62.8mm.

CE marked in accordance with the low voltage directive, the new supply carries all relevant environmental and safety approvals including radiated electric field, conducted emissions and harmonics and RF immunity standards. Standard leakage current is 1.5mA, with a medical option.
