Power supply manufacturer TDK-Lambda, a group company of the TDK Corporation, is pleased to announce that young apprentice Ryan Podmore has been recognised by Group Training and Development (GTD), the local training provider for technical apprentices, for his outstanding commitment to both his college course work and in-company NVQ training.

Ryan, who has recently completed his 2nd Year National Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, was presented the award by Phil Scotcher, General Manager of TDK-Lambda UK: “Ryan has excelled in his studies once more, winning the most improved student of the year 2009/10 from Petroc and gaining distinctions in his 1st year at college. It is testament to GTD’s support in training local technical apprentices and of Ryan’s commitment and dedication to furthering his career development. Well done!”

Ryan Podmore joined a number of apprentices in North Devon who received recognition for their hard work at the annual awards dinner held by GTD in Barnstaple.
