TDK-Lambda displays advanced power supplies at Engineering Design Show 2012

Postato : 21 Aug 2012

TDK Corporation announces that TDK-Lambda UK will be presenting its latest additions to its industry-leading power supplies at its stand A30, at this year’s Engineering Design Show. On the first day (Wednesday, 10th October at 2.00pm) experienced FAEs Matt Smith and Keith Barclay will present a seminar that will walk OEM designers through the key steps for achieving rapid, successful power supply integration.

One of the many product highlights at the TDK-Lambda stand will be the new Z+ Series of programmable DC power supplies. These 200W and 400W 2U format units offer advanced features for ATE and OEM rack mounted or integrated applications such as Semiconductor Burn-in, Component Test, Laser Diode and Test & Measurement. The lower power units also address the need for high quality bench-top power supplies in the R&D environment.

Also on display will be the CFE400M, TDK-Lambda’s next-generation digitally controlled, AC-DC medical power supply that meets both the 2nd and 3rd Editions of IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60601-1. These efficient and reliable power supplies are well-suited for many types of medical and dental equipment, as well as other high integrity applications including ATE, automation, broadcast, instrumentation, routers, servers and security networks.

With a 10-year E-cap lifetime for superior reliability and ‘green’ <0.5W no load consumption, the ZWS-B Series printed circuit board type AC-DC power supplies reinforces TDK-Lambda’s ‘green’ product initiative. Available in three low power models – 10W, 15W and 30W – these products are ideal for use in a wide range of light industrial equipment and front-end equipment for broadcast and communications applications.

Complying with the 2nd Generation DOSA standards for Point-of-Load (PoL) converters, the iCF, iCG, iBF and iAF series of non-isolated SMT DC-DC converters are plug and play devices that require no external tuning components. With a Land Grid Array (LGA) footprint, these rugged and reliable devices are suitable for harsh telecom and broadcast mast-mounted applications, as well as industrial, test & measurement, routers and medical equipment.

Throughout the show technical experts will be on hand at the TDK-Lambda stand for designers who wish to discuss a specific power supply requirement in more detail. To arrange an appointment, please call Beverley Hancock on +44 (0)1271 856600 or email at: bev.hancock@uk.tdk-lambda.com
